License agreement — mskrz Inspector for OmniScript

Copyright (c) 2026 Mikołaj Skrzypczyński. All rights reserved.
License agreement, version 2026-11-05.4 (5 November 2026).

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Mikołaj Skrzypczyński, trading as programiq Mikołaj Skrzypczyński, NIP 7142059691, registered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG) ("the author"), for mskrz Inspector for OmniScript ("the Software").

Please read this Agreement before installing or using the Software. By accepting this Agreement or, where permitted by applicable law, by installing or using the Software after having an opportunity to review its terms, you agree to be bound by it. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

1. License

The author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license, without a fixed end date, to download, install, store, run and use the Software on compatible devices outside Russia and Belarus, for your own work and for work you perform for your employer or clients, subject to section 9 and applicable law.

This license includes making copies necessary for installation, storage, execution, ordinary use and updates through authorized browser extension distribution and synchronization mechanisms.

You may use the Software for personal or commercial purposes, including work performed as an employee, contractor or independent consultant. This license does not authorize redistribution of the Software to other users. Each user must be covered by a license or another applicable authorization.

The Software is currently provided free of charge, without a subscription fee or time-limited trial period.

The author may introduce optional paid features or editions, including a potential Pro edition, in the future. Such features or editions, if introduced, will be subject to separate terms disclosed before purchase or activation.

No paid features or editions are offered under this Agreement at the time of its publication. This Agreement does not establish a paid subscription, authorize automatic charges, or require any purchase.

Introducing a paid edition does not automatically convert an existing free license into a paid one, impose charges for use already licensed free of charge, or retrospectively withdraw rights granted under this Agreement.

Future releases may introduce new functionality or modify existing functionality in accordance with section 2 and applicable law. This license does not grant entitlement to future paid features, and it does not guarantee that every future release will contain exactly the same functionality as an earlier version.

2. Updates and changes to the Software

The author may publish updates through the browser's extension store or other authorized distribution channels.

Updates may include security fixes, bug fixes, compatibility improvements, performance improvements and changes necessary to comply with applicable law.

Other changes, including adding, modifying or removing features, may be made for valid reasons such as changes to Salesforce, browser platforms or applicable law, security requirements, improvements to usability, accessibility, reliability or performance, or further development of the Software.

The release notes for each version describe its changes.

Where applicable law imposes requirements for modifying digital content or services, including requirements for valid reasons, advance notice, information on a durable medium, or remedies for adverse changes, those requirements take precedence.

The Software relies on Salesforce pages, APIs, browser DevTools and other browser features, which may change independently of the author. Such changes may interrupt or prevent certain features from working. The author cannot guarantee that affected functionality can always be restored. This does not limit any mandatory rights under section 11.

Except where required by applicable law, this Agreement does not guarantee that updates, new features or compatibility fixes will be provided for any particular period.

The author accepts questions and bug reports sent to the contact address in section 14 or through the issue tracker linked on mskrz.com. Technical support does not have a guaranteed response or resolution time. Formal complaints are handled under section 10.

3. Changes to this Agreement

Each version of this Agreement is identified by a version number and date.

Each version of the Software is distributed with its applicable Agreement in the LICENSE file. The current Agreement and retained earlier versions are made available on mskrz.com.

The author may offer a revised Agreement with a future release of the Software.

A revised Agreement applies only where it has been validly accepted or otherwise becomes applicable under mandatory law. Publishing new terms on a website does not, by itself, amend an existing Agreement or withdraw rights already granted.

Changes to an ongoing contractual relationship must comply with applicable requirements concerning notification, consent and other legal protections.

An existing license is not retrospectively replaced merely because a new version of this Agreement is published.

4. What you may not do

Except as expressly permitted by this Agreement or applicable law, you may not:

  1. Sell, rent, lend, sublicense, publish, distribute or otherwise make copies of the Software available to others without the author's permission.
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.
  3. Remove, obscure or alter copyright notices, license notices or other proprietary notices included in the Software.
  4. Use or distribute the Software in violation of sanctions, export controls or other trade restrictions applicable to you or the author.
  5. Install or use the Software while physically located in Russia or Belarus. This territorial restriction applies regardless of nationality or citizenship.

These restrictions do not prohibit acts expressly authorized by section 1 or acts that applicable mandatory law allows despite a contractual restriction.

Such legally protected acts may include making necessary backup copies, observing, studying or testing the functioning of a program, and performing certain acts required for interoperability, subject to the conditions established by law.

These exceptions include rights protected by Articles 75 and 76 of the Polish Copyright Act and corresponding mandatory provisions of other applicable laws.

5. Ownership and third-party rights

The Software is licensed, not sold.

The author retains all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Software that are not expressly granted under this Agreement.

This Agreement applies to the version of the Software with which it is supplied and does not revoke rights already granted under earlier licenses.

Third-party components included in the Software may be subject to separate licenses. Their respective license terms and notices remain applicable.

Salesforce, OmniStudio and OmniScript are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc.

The Software is developed independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc.

6. Your responsibility and Salesforce access

The Software operates in your browser using the Salesforce environment and access available to you.

You are responsible for:

  1. Ensuring that you are authorized to access and use the Salesforce organizations, environments and data with which you use the Software, and complying with applicable law, Salesforce terms and the policies of your employer or clients.
  2. Handling information that you copy, export, download, save, capture in screenshots, share or otherwise disclose using the Software, including complying with applicable confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  3. Protecting information visible on your screen and ensuring that anyone to whom you disclose information is authorized to receive it.
  4. The Salesforce operations you choose to perform while using the Software, including compliance with applicable access permissions, API limits and organizational restrictions.

The Software observes network requests made by the inspected page through browser DevTools and reads OmniScript state from that page.

Observing these requests does not itself initiate additional Salesforce API requests. Requests made by the inspected page remain subject to Salesforce's applicable permissions, API limits and service restrictions.

The inspected requests and OmniScript state may contain confidential, sensitive or personal information. You are responsible for handling any information you inspect, copy, export or disclose in accordance with applicable law and organizational policies.

The Software does not send Salesforce organization data to the author.

If you voluntarily submit a support request, bug report or other diagnostic information, review its contents beforehand and remove confidential, sensitive or personal information that is not necessary for the request.

The product-specific privacy policy available on mskrz.com describes the information that the Software accesses, stores and transmits.

7. Warranty

Subject to section 11, for business users the Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

The author does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every Salesforce configuration or browser version, or the availability of any particular feature, except where required by mandatory law.

If you are a consumer or a sole trader entitled to the protections described in section 11, you retain all applicable mandatory rights, including rights relating to conformity of digital content, updates and legal remedies where those rules apply.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Limit of liability

  1. Subject to section 11 and paragraphs c and d below, the author excludes liability to business users for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data and business interruption arising out of or in connection with the Software or this Agreement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  2. Subject to section 11 and paragraphs c and d below, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the author's total aggregate liability to a business user arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or the Software shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by that user to the author for the license to the Software supplied under this Agreement.

The Software is supplied free of charge under section 1, so that amount is zero. This aggregate limit applies to all claims combined, regardless of the number of claims.

  3. For consumers and sole traders protected under section 11, liability is determined by applicable law. The exclusions and limitations in paragraphs a and b do not apply to the extent that they would restrict mandatory rights or remedies.
  4. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Ending the license

You may stop using the Software and uninstall it at any time.

If you materially breach this Agreement, the author may terminate your license in accordance with applicable law.

Where a breach can be remedied, the author will first notify you through an available contact channel and allow 14 days from receipt of the notice to remedy the breach before termination takes effect.

When your license ends, you must stop using the Software and delete copies under your control, subject to any rights preserved by mandatory law.

Termination does not affect rights you hold independently of this Agreement, including rights granted under separate licenses.

10. Complaints and technical requirements

The Software is intended to run in the browsers and environments identified as supported in its extension store listing.

Its operation requires access to a compatible Salesforce environment and the browser features necessary to inspect supported OmniScript pages.

To submit a complaint about the Software, contact the author using the email address in section 14.

Please describe the problem and, where available, identify the Software version, browser and circumstances in which the problem occurred.

The author will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt, unless mandatory law requires a different procedure or period.

For consumer complaints, the consequences of failing to respond within the statutory deadline and the required form of the response are governed by applicable law.

11. Consumers and protected sole traders

Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts or waives rights or remedies that applicable consumer protection law makes mandatory.

A natural person entering into an agreement directly connected with their business activity may also benefit from certain consumer protections if the agreement is not professional in nature for that person, as determined by applicable law.

Such protections include, where applicable, Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and Article 385⁵ of the Polish Civil Code.

Each provision applies only within its statutory scope. These protections do not automatically make every sole trader a consumer for every legal purpose.

The warranty exclusions and liability limitations for business users in sections 7 and 8 do not apply to the extent that doing so would conflict with mandatory protections applicable to consumers or protected sole traders.

12. Governing law and courts

This Agreement is governed by Polish law.

This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections applicable under conflict-of-law rules, including protections provided by the law of the consumer's habitual residence where applicable.

Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law. Consumers may bring or defend proceedings before the courts available to them under applicable jurisdiction rules.

For disputes involving business users, the courts competent for the author's principal place of business in Poland are agreed upon only to the extent that such a jurisdiction agreement is legally valid.

This provision does not override mandatory jurisdiction rules or protections applicable to consumers or sole traders covered by section 11.

13. General provisions

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

This Agreement does not override mandatory law, the licenses of separately licensed third-party components, or rights validly retained under earlier licenses.

Any assignment or transfer of this Agreement must comply with applicable law and preserve rights that cannot lawfully be withdrawn. Your consent will be obtained where required.

Failure by the author to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive the right to enforce it on another occasion, subject to applicable law.
