License agreement — mskrz Inspector for OmniScript

Copyright © 2026 Mikołaj Skrzypczyński. All rights reserved. License agreement, version 2026-11-05.3 (5 November 2026).

This is a license agreement between you and Mikołaj Skrzypczyński, trading as programiq Mikołaj Skrzypczyński, NIP 7142059691, entered in the Polish business register CEIDG ("the author"), for mskrz Inspector for OmniScript ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software.

1. License

The author grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software outside Russia and Belarus, for your own work and for the work you do for your employer or your clients, at no charge and with no time limit, subject to section 9.

The author may later offer optional paid features or editions under separate terms disclosed before purchase or activation. This agreement does not require a purchase, impose charges for use already licensed free of charge, or automatically convert a free license to a paid one.

2. Updates and changes to the Software

The author may publish updates through the browser's extension store.

Updates that keep the Software working, secure or in line with the law may change it, subject to applicable law. Other changes, such as new features or a changed or removed feature, are made for a reason: a change in Salesforce, in the browsers or in the law, security, or the development of the Software. The release notes of each version describe its changes. Any statutory requirements for modifying digital content, including a valid reason, notice and remedies where applicable, remain unaffected.

The Software relies on Salesforce pages and APIs, and on browser features. Salesforce or a browser vendor may change them. A feature may then stop working, and the author cannot promise that it can be restored. This does not limit a consumer's rights under section 7.

The author answers questions and bug reports sent to the contact address in section 14 or to the issue tracker linked on mskrz.com, without a guaranteed response time.

3. Changes to this agreement

Each version of this agreement carries its date. Each version of the Software comes with its agreement in its LICENSE file; mskrz.com publishes the current version and identifies retained earlier versions.

A revised agreement may be offered with a future Software release. It applies only where validly agreed under applicable law. Publishing new terms on a website does not by itself amend an existing agreement or withdraw rights already granted. Any change to an ongoing agreement must meet the applicable requirements for notice and agreement. Your existing license is not retrospectively replaced merely because terms change.

4. What you may not do

  1. Copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, publish or otherwise redistribute the Software, or give access to it to anyone the license does not cover.
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or work out its source code.
  3. Remove or change copyright notices.
  4. Use the Software where sanctions or export rules that apply to you or to the author forbid it.
  5. Install or use the Software while physically located in Russia or Belarus. This territorial restriction applies regardless of nationality.

None of this takes away what the law allows you to do despite such a restriction, such as making a backup copy, or studying, testing or decompiling the Software for interoperability where the law permits it. These exceptions include the rights protected by Articles 75 and 76 of the Polish Copyright Act and other applicable mandatory law.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. The author keeps all rights that this agreement does not grant. This agreement applies to the version of the Software it comes with. It does not revoke rights already granted. Separately licensed third-party components retain their own licenses and notices.

Salesforce, OmniStudio and OmniScript are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. The Software is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc.

6. Your responsibility

The Software works in your browser, as you, with your Salesforce access. You decide what you do with it, and you are responsible for:

  1. having the right to use the org and the data you open with the Software, and following Salesforce's terms, the rules of your employer or client and the law that applies to that data, including data protection law;
  2. what you copy, export, save, screenshot, share or send from the Software, and who sees your screen;
  3. the Salesforce operations you choose to perform and the applicable access permissions and limits.

Inspector observes requests made by the inspected page through browser DevTools and reads OmniScript state from that page. Observing those requests does not itself make an additional Salesforce API request. The inspected page's requests remain subject to Salesforce's applicable limits.

The Software does not send Salesforce org data to the author. If you send a support report, review it first and remove confidential or personal data that is not needed. The product-specific privacy policy on mskrz.com describes what the Software reads, stores and sends.

7. Warranty

Subject to section 11, if you are acting as a business, the Software is provided as is: the author gives no warranty and, as far as the law allows, excludes the statutory warranty (rękojmia) and any implied warranty. If you are a consumer or a sole trader protected under section 11, you retain all applicable mandatory rights, including any rights to conformity of digital content, updates and remedies where those rules apply.

8. Limit of liability

  1. Subject to section 11 and paragraphs c and d below, for business users the author excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data and business interruption, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  2. Subject to section 11 and paragraphs c and d below, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the author's total aggregate liability to a business user arising out of or in connection with this agreement or the Software shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by that user to the author for the license to the Software supplied under this agreement. The Software is supplied free of charge under section 1, so that amount is zero. This limit applies to all claims combined, not separately to each claim.
  3. For consumers and sole traders protected under section 11, liability is determined by applicable law. The exclusions and limit above do not apply to the extent that they would restrict their mandatory rights or remedies.
  4. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

9. Ending

You may stop using the Software at any time.

If you break this agreement, the author may end your license. When the breach can be put right, the author first tells you and gives you 14 days to do so. When your license ends, you stop using the Software and delete your copies, subject to mandatory law. Ending this agreement does not terminate rights you hold independently of this agreement.

10. Complaints and technical requirements

The Software runs in the browsers its store listing names, in their current versions, and needs a connection to Salesforce.

To complain about the Software, write to the contact address in section 14 with the version of the Software and what happened. The author answers within 14 days.

11. Consumers

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights. A natural person contracting directly in connection with their business may also have consumer protections where the contract is not professional in nature for them. These include, where applicable, Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act and Articles 385⁵ and 556⁴ of the Polish Civil Code. Each provision applies within its statutory scope; those protections do not make every sole trader a consumer for every purpose.

The business warranty and liability exclusions and limitations in sections 7 and 8 do not apply to the extent that they would conflict with these protections.

12. Law and courts

This agreement is governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection that applies under conflict-of-law rules, including the protection of the law of their habitual residence where applicable. Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law. A consumer may bring or defend proceedings in the courts that those rules entitle them to use; this agreement does not restrict those rights.

For business disputes, the courts competent for the author's seat in Poland are agreed only to the extent a jurisdiction agreement is legally valid. This clause does not override mandatory jurisdiction rules or protections applicable to a sole trader under section 11.

13. General

If a court finds part of this agreement invalid, the rest stays in force. This agreement does not override mandatory law, separately licensed components, or rights retained under earlier licenses. Any transfer of this agreement must comply with applicable law and preserve your rights; your consent will be obtained where required.
